This basically means making the best of one’s activities and aims within the capacity of one’s resourses and circumsances. As cliche as the idom sounds, people still make the mistake of ”cutting their coats according to their
sizes” and this is a major limitation generally affecting all categories and age groups of human beings.
People tend to do what they ought not to do such as: pretending, stealing, killing, prostitution, fraudulent acts, borrowing stuffs they might not be able to pay back, going to native doctors/spiritualists e.t.c, just to be noticed/ to make a statement in the society or to be like somebody else, who probabaly tickles thier fancy or many a time all in the name of “trying to make ends meet”. There’s no excuse!..Make the best out of your situation!!. If such people tickle your fancy, let them be an inspiration to you, to make you become determined to work harrrrrrd, believe in yourself and even be a better, outstanding edition than they are. Dear boys & girls, young ladies & gentlemen, big dads & mums, you “Do not” need to go out of your capacity and principles to be like some other persons at the top for you don’t have an idea of the sacrifices the person made to get there. It’s not worth the stress because in the end of the struggle, you find out that it all amounts to nothing, there’s no fulfilment of any sort and it just leads to frustration and depression. Proverbs 12:9 says: “It is better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than to pretend to be somebody and have no food”.
There’s trully no shortcut to success. The open secret is a combination of wisdom, determination, hardwork, consistency and humility backed up by The Almighty God. 1st Peter 5:6 says: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time”. Do your best within your capacity and never stop doing your best, then leave the rest to God. He who searches the heart will see your great, humble effort and bless your hustle by increasing the size of your cloth, in order for you to cut a bigger/better coat. Have a wonderful day!… 🙂

When referring to the heart, we immediately think of a very delicate and vital organ of the body that’s essential for living. The heart determines whether a person is dead or alive, its an organ you can never do without. Proverbs 4:20-23 says:
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. “Above all else, guard your heart for everything you do flows from it”.
Basically this bible passage is just trying to let us know that every single course of action we take are first conceived in our hearts, be it the words we speak(Luke 6:45), the attitude we put up generally (with or without people around), the decisions we make or the way we deal with situations and circumstances surrounding us. The picture we paint ourselves to be is as a result of our thoughts and our thoughts are as a result of what we conceive or think in our hearts (Proverbs 23:7~ As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he). Therefore anyone who thinks limitedly in one way or the other limits his/herself and automatically exudes a limited life, of which the same goes to anyone who thinks perversely in one way or the other automatically exudes a perverse life and so on as the case may be. It is good that we learn to control and be cautious of what we cook up in our hearts, what we dispense from our hearts and what we open up our hearts to. These can be done by;
- Asking God to be the permanent CEO of your thoughts and getting affiliated with The Holy Spirit.
- Meditating constantly on His word(The Bible) and making it your basic written guide in life.
- Abstaining from precursors of negative or ill thinking.
- Consciously practising more of positive and healthy thinking.
- Seeking clarity on issues you’re not sure of, from people you know that have more experience than you do. (could be your pastor, mentor, a good friend e.t.c)
Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things. (Philipians 4:8)
Have a wonderful and favor dominated week!!!… Ciao 🙂
